Simply Wildcrafted

Introducing Simply Wildcrafted; a representation of a slower, more intentional way of everything. Herbal infusions, simple rituals, some DIY recipes, and taking back our wisdom for natural remedies and infusions for skincare, home care, and raising children. Simple. Grounded. Handcrafted. 


Why change from Pureheaven to Simply Wildcrafted?

Changing the Pureheaven branding was a bit of pipe dream of mine from my early days (9 years ago!) in Pureheaven but there was always reasons not to: maintaining the business and its loyalty, the cost of changing all the physical shop branding and signage, redirecting people on the website, the list goes on. However, just before the birth of my second baby, there was a little niggle  to share some things beyond our beloved products with the people; information, rituals, aromatherpy recipes, and some of our recipes that you can’t buy anymore, so I thought e-books might be a solution but I branded them as something else; something that felt a little more grounded and accessible. Then I started learning about and collecting some tallow (from our own farm) and I realised that Pureheaven wouldn’t serve for me to share some of these things pretty quickly. And finally, a sign from the universe (or maybe just cyber space), all of the technical bits of our domain for Pureheaven were being shifted, I did all the things listed out in the emails and the redirection failed. I could’ve thrown some more money at it to recover the original domain, but truthfully, I didn’t want to. This was it. To have my site visible to you all again, it had to come as something else, so I jumped, and launched Simply Wildcrafted. Complete with the e-books I’ve already written. 

The rebranding will roll out slowly; as things restock, and I have time pockets to update the things that need updating (after all, I am a stay-at-home-mum of 2 now). I want to take my time with this, it’s really coming from the heart, with intent and grounded clarity to serve us all. 


What to expect?

Well, as I introduced; it’s a representation of a slower, more intentional way of everything. Also as I eluded to, I’ve done some learning about things we’ve avoided in the past, specifically, animal products such as tallow, beeswax, goat’s milk, and honey. While we did have a line as part of the original catalogue that included goat’s milk and honey and some beeswax, you can expect to see these a bit more readily among some of our favourite plant based ingredients too. Everything will remain natural and and hand made in small batches. There are some things that are are actually ready; some labels, some pictures, and away we go. Some things are being developed or redeveloped, and some things are stay exactly as they are for the foreseeable future. If you want to be kept up to date with new product releases or redevelopments, make sure you’re on my email list, I will be updating there most consistently.


Further to the email sign up, I’m undecided if I will have social media pages for this brand at this stage. This comes from a very personal development since having kids; besides being a huge undertaking to post as consistently as is required by the algorithm, I also feel that social media serves a very limited purpose at the moment. Therefore, I’m not sure I want to contribute further to something I’m not sure I support personally. In lieu of social media for now, I will keep this page as something of a notice board for all, posting updates, release dates, any major upcoming changes to the catalogue and so on. It will be accessible from the homepage until further notice. 


There is an e-book out already called Botanical Beauty Recipe Book, a collection of 11 recipes inclusive of a shopping list, including some fun activities to try with the kids if you’re game. There’s also a free sampler collection for what else you can expect in e-books. I guess overall, this brand is much more me shaped. It will grow organically and with me and my family.
